Kimberley Creeks and Orchids

Today’s selection of photos from Western Australia include some excellent (if I do say so myself) images from the Violet Valley area of the east Kimberley region. The area includes significant ranges of mountains and abounds with water, deepish valleys and beautiful spinifex and grass covered expanses which are impossible not to love.

So last week I spent the week in Alice Spring and did a trip out to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. I did a tour with Emu Run and I have to admit it was pretty awesome so I would recommend it if you are heading out there. Long Weekend Cycle Tour – Rosewood – Lake Moogerah – Ipswich

South East Brisbane Bikeways

Today I set out with the aim of exploring several of south east Brisbane’s major bike ways, in particular the SE Freeway Bike Way and the Bulimba Creek Cycleway.
